Membership is open to all persons who support our goals and purposes as stated on the "Who We Are" home page.  Article 2 in our Bylaws provides the full statement of our mission. All membership levels apply to families as well as to individuals.  If you join on or after October 1st, you can get membership for the remainder of the year plus the following year. 

Friends of Northern Arizona Forests is a "charitable" organization in the sense of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Membership contributions and donations qualify as tax-deductible.

How do I get started?

It's easy to become a member. All you need to do is fill out our short membership form and mail it in with your personal check.  

Step 1:  The membership form can be downloaded, printed, and filled out by you by clicking on the following           link:  Download a membership form in pdf format.  

Step 2:  Mail in your completed form with personal check made out to "Friends of Northern Arizona Forests" to:

You will be notified by our Membership Coordinator after processing your information and check.  

General Policy on Participation by Minors

  1. Minors 16 and 17 years old may participate in activities provided either (1) they are under direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian or (2) they have submitted written permission to participate from a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Friends of Northern Arizona Forests will provide a specific form for the written permission. The form may accessed by clicking on "Permission Form" in the next section below.

Minors under 16 years old may participate in project activities only if supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

The policies apply across all of Friends of Northern Arizona Forests membership classes and to the general public whenever non-members are invited to participate in an activity coordinated by Friends of Northern Arizona Forests.
